Docfold does not collect, store or transmit any personal data.

What stays on your device

Your scans, the recognized text and any receipt fields are stored only on your iPhone, inside the app's own storage. They are never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored.

On-device processing

Text recognition, suggested titles, categories and receipt fields are computed on your device with Apple's Vision and Foundation Models frameworks. No server is involved and no data is sent to us or to third parties.

No tracking

The app makes no network requests. It contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or third-party SDKs.

Permissions

Camera access is used only to capture documents you choose to scan. Photo library access is used only to import images you pick. Face ID is used only to unlock the app when App Lock is turned on. None of this data is retained beyond the scan you create.
